Here are our top tips for making your competition entry:

• You can enter as an individual or as a small group (maximum of 5 people).
• Make sure you read the Competitions Rules before entering the ‘My Life Online’ Competition.
• Don’t include the personal details of yourself or others in your entry e.g. full name, home address, email address, mobile phone number etc.
• Parents are your audience so you might need to explain some of the cool, new things that you are talking about!
• Take care not to display information about your school, sports club or youth group e.g. your school’s name, emblem, uniform or tie.
• You need to keep the attention of your audience so if filming your entry keep it 1-3 minutes long.
• Think about what is in the background when creating your entry, is there anything that may reveal the personal details of yourself or others?
• Be creative and imaginative with what you have around you when creating your entry - you don’t need to use a camera or a laptop to enter.
• Make sure you have permission from everyone taking part, especially if you are using photos or making a film.
• Be original!
